Established in Isma-05, Gulmi, Jibraj Aashrit Polytechnic Institute (JAPI) is a growing technical education institution dedicated to providing specialized training in engineering and vocational skills. The institute has 44 Ropani land,

Vision Statement:

“To be a trusted rural polytechnic under CTEVT that gives affordable technical education and builds a strong future.”

Mission Statement:

“JAPI provides practical skills in Geomatics and other fields by improving facilities, increasing students, and supporting the Gulmi-Isma community.”

Academic Programs

JAPI currently runs a single Diploma Program:

  • Diploma in Geomatics Engineering (3 years) – Focused on surveying, mapping, and geospatial technologies, preparing graduates for careers in land management, infrastructure, and development projects.

Short-Term Vocational Training

In addition to its diploma program, JAPI offers skill-oriented short-term training courses (390 hours each) designed to meet local and national workforce needs:

  • Building Electrician
  • Beautician
  • Plumber

Community Impact

Since its establishment, JAPI has trained over 500 students, equipping them with technical expertise and practical skills that foster self-employment, career growth, and community development. Many graduates have gone on to contribute to Nepal’s infrastructure, service industries, and local entrepreneurship.
